A Journey to Confidence
Shurvone’s path to confidence was not an easy one. She spent years struggling with low self-esteem, afraid to use her voice and truly shine. Outwardly, she was successful, but internally, she battled self-doubt. The turning point came during a counseling session when her mentor asked, “How do you think people see you?” Shurvone listed all the positive attributes she believed others saw in her. But when asked, “How do you see yourself?” the realization hit her deeply.
Her counselor then told her she needed to learn to be confident without regret—a phrase that took her breath away and set the foundation for her future movement. She held onto those words, not knowing at the time how transformative they would be.
The Birth of Confidence Without Regret
In 2016, Shurvone trademarked the phrase "Confidence Without Regret," knowing it held significance even before fully understanding its impact. Two years later, she hosted her first Confidence Without Regret Conference, designed to inspire and uplift women.
Through her journey of self-acceptance, she made a bold decision in 2020 to shave her head, symbolizing the shedding of insecurities and standing unapologetically in her truth. That same year, she wrote her book, Confidence Without Regret: The Butterfly Experience, Overcoming Low Self-Esteem, Deliberating Your Purpose, sharing her raw and vulnerable story of overcoming abuse, addiction, and self-doubt.

That divine warning led her to reach out to a woman who prayed over her, helping her rededicate her life to God. From that moment on, she never touched drugs again, pursued her education in nursing, and began building a life of purpose.
Her faith continues to be the foundation of her message. She chose March 16th as National Confidence Without Regret Day without initially realizing its biblical significance—3/16 aligns with John 3:16, emphasizing God’s love and purpose for everyone.
A Movement That Embraces All Women
The Confidence Without Regret movement is about creating a safe space where women feel seen, loved, and empowered. Shurvone understands the pain of isolation, insecurity, and fear, and she is determined to ensure that no woman feels alone. Her events are designed to be immersive, inspiring experiences where women walk away knowing their worth and feeling celebrated.
As she continues to grow the movement, her vision extends beyond the U.S. She has begun partnerships in Ghana with Ms. Ohenewaa Constance Ankoma founder of Erudite Women’s Empowerment Foundation, expanding the reach of her message to women across the globe.
