— East County Living magazine is a compelling resource
for living, working, and playing in eastern Contra Costa
County. East County Living reaches 52,000 readers within
one of the most affluent rapidly growing segments of the
East County. With high journalistic standards it taps an
educated readership who is interested in news both on their
community and of the world.

Richard
Koscher
Richard, has more than 14 years of expertise in publishing and
design. U.S. career includes time spent at CMP-United Business
Media, where he served and received 13 awards as Art Director
for Web Techniques. In Spring of 2002 he facilitated
in launching New Architect Magazine, a San Francisco-based
technology magazine which won the NY Ozzie Award in October
of 2002 for best overall design. An Austrian native, he has
worked for monthly, weekly and daily magazines such as Format
Magazine and News Magazine, two of Austria's biggest
media groups and affiliates of the German Bertelsmann Group. |

Don
Huntington
Don has been working as an information developer in California's
Silicon Valley for nearly twenty years. He has operated his
own typesetting and consulting business, plus working as an
information specialist in hi-tech companies, including, most
recently, Lucent Technologies. Don has written articles of general
interest for a number of publications, including the Antioch
Press. During the past two decades Don has been passionately
involved in implementing many aspects of information technology,
especially creating newsletters. Don is a resident of Antioch
and an outspoken advocate for East County living. |

Piepho
As the Director of Public Relations, David is the newest member
of the 110 Magazine team. He is passionately involved in projects
to improve living and working in East County. He has served
in politics and on a number of commissions and committees serving
the public. David resides in Discovery Bay and is a familiar
face to many East County residents. His wife, Mary, is a
candidate for County Supervisor. |

Natalie
Bering
Natalie is one of the rare people who love going on sales calls.
She gets in front of customers whenever opportunities arise
to do so. In her role as Sales Director, Natalie also works
hard in the background designing winning strategies for advertisers.
She refers to advertising sales as "solutions." She
views her role as trying to earn some money for the magazine
by helping clients earn a lot of money for their businesses.
Natalie is a cancer-survivor who runs marathons for recreation.
She loves facing up to challenges and overcoming them. She's
good at it. |

Sheryl
Lindroos
Sheryl Lindroos specializes in putting together customer needs
and magazine advertising space in creative and beneficial combinations.
Sheryl profoundly believes in the principle that if a particular
advertisement isn't a good investment for the customer then
the advertisement is not a good sale
for the magazine; ultimately nobody wins if everyone doesn't
win. Sheryl came to the magazine with proven leadership in sales,
marketing, and customer service. She has a strong background
in management and public relations. Sheryl is a resident of
Brentwood and combines her career in selling advertising with
homemaking, parenting, and community service. She loves to help
with East County fund raisers in our community. |

Brad
Shifflett
Brad comes from 3 years of event photography for his own company,
basically started as a father and son team shooting baseball,
hockey, basketball and other sporting events and selling prints
online to its customers. Over the past couple of years Brad
has branched out into doing landscape, animal and portrait photography.
Brad has been published in the local Brentwood Press
and soon to be in Action Pursuit Games magazine, which
is a major 25,000+ subscription base. Brad now operates Shifflett
Enterprises which is a IT Consulting and Photography business.
Brad's passion has always been capturing moments in time, creating
photos of memories for hundreds of people. Brad brings is innovative
photography skills to 110° Magazine, you will see photos
from all over the Brentwood area, from major events to how to
photos on completing projects. With 7 years living in Brentwood,
Brad has seen the growth, the problems, and the need for this
magazine. |

Adam
Nation
Adam has carried on a decade long love affair with desktop publishing
and graphic design, Adam blends experience with passion in responding
to the challenge of hi-quality desktop publishing. He carried
out freelance graphic work for such companies as Cisco Systems
and Hewlett-Packard, while working on an AA in graphic design
at De Anza College. Adam also attended Hope International University,
receiving a BA in graphic design through a joint program between
Hope and California State University Fullerton. While in school,
Adam worked as Hope University's graphic designer, designing
and creating advertisements, brochures, mailings, and pages
for the school's magazine and newspaper. |

Jenny
J. Parma
Jenny comes from a Web-based and print background, serving as
editor to numerous publications and start-ups. Through more
than eight years of media work, her portfolio includes media
campaigns, Web writings, magazine articles, public relations
brochures and monthly columns for companies such as Miller
Freeman, Learnfree.com, Rutter Media and
NPR Radio. A native Texan, she's run swiftly from her
homeland to seek out diverse experiences such as her tenure
in Guatemala as a Peace Corps volunteer. Prone to the outdoors
and nature, she enjoys backpacking, kayaking, wake boarding,
skiing, tennis, disc golf and marathon running. A graduate of
the University of Missouri, Columbia, Jenny holds dual degrees
in journalism and business and is currently working on a master's
degree in multimedia at CSU. |

Chris
Scott
Chris makes his home in Antioch. He loves to spend time hanging
around Antioch's historic Rivertown District. Chris is a writer
of many years experience. He has spent years doing technical
documentation and has many articles for newsletters, newspapers,
and other kinds of publications under his belt. Chris says his
happy place is sitting before a computer keyboard and creating
the articles that he loves. |
